Which Workday training should every employee take?

All WSU employees will have access to what is called Employee Self-Service functions in Workday. Employee Self-Service tasks include things like updating your address, checking your payslip, and entering time.

What is the Modernization Initiative? The Modernization Initiative is driving a University-wide project to change the way WSU supports finance, post-award grant administration, payroll, and human resource activities. WSU will replace the nearly 40-year-old mainframe system, AIS, with Workday software, and streamline business processes. This will enable us to transform the way we work and help the University achieve its core mission and the Drive to 25.

Modernization Readiness Poll | Modernization | Washington State University

The Modernization Initiative sent out a poll in the fall of 2019 to measure general awareness and understanding surrounding the initiative among employees.

More than 11,500 faculty, graduate assistants, and staff received the poll, with 1,974 responding.
